Human Factor is seeking, on behalf of a client, a Senior Accountant.

About the Role

The role sits within a fast-paced, high-standard environment where financial precision, discretion, and ownership are essential. The successful candidate will be responsible for month-end close, financial reporting, statutory and tax reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis for a single-member private company structure (one legal entity). The role also involves close collaboration with an external consulting firm supporting accounting and tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Full ownership of month-end close process for a single legal entity
Preparation of statutory financial statements and management accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
Tax reporting support and coordination with external accounting/tax consultants
Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Ensure compliance with Greek GAAP and IFRS standards
Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and balance sheet movements
Provide insight into performance, variances, and financial trends
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools
Work closely with senior stakeholders in the family office to support decision-making
Ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency of financial data across systems
Identify risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement

Requirements

Authorized Signatory (A' Class Accountant License)
Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience
Strong experience in real estate / property accounting (essential)
Strong technical knowledge of Greek GAAP and IFRS
Proven track record in month-end ownership and management reporting
Strong understanding of management accounts, cash flow, and balance sheet impacts
Advanced Excel proficiency
Systems experience:
- Dynamics 365 Business Central (must-have)
- Xero (preferred)
Experience with Power BI reporting and dashboard development
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required, as English is the company's working language
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, hands-on family office environment
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail
