HR Manager

A well-established organisation headquartered in Athens is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead its people function during an exciting period of transformation and growth. With a strong export orientation and a trusted presence in global markets, this company is committed to building a high-performance culture and investing in its people.
This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the CEO. You will oversee the full HR function for a workforce of 300+ employees and play a central role in shaping the organisation's future.
Key Responsibilities
HR Leadership & Business Partnership
Act as a trusted HR advisor to senior-level leaders and department heads on all people matters.
Drive fair, consistent, and business-focused decision-making across the organisation.
Build credibility and trust at all levels through confidentiality, sound judgement, and integrity.
Transformation & Change Management
Support the company's restructuring and transformation agenda with clear HR planning and execution.
Define roles, reporting lines, and team structures in collaboration with senior leadership.
Guide managers through change, performance conversations, and sensitive employee matters.
Champion a modern, performance-driven, and internationally aligned working culture.
Payroll & HR Administration
Oversee accurate and timely payroll, ensuring full compliance with Greek labour law (IKA/EFKA, ERGANI, tax obligations).
Supervise and develop the payroll team
Manage contracts, onboarding/offboarding, and personnel records.
Talent Acquisition
Lead end-to-end recruitment across diverse functions: IT, sales, marketing, administrative, and specialist roles.
Manage recruitment for international collaborators and business development partners.
Strengthen employer brand and candidate experience.
Performance Management & L&D
Design and lead the company-wide performance evaluation process.
Support managers in goal-setting, performance conversations, and addressing underperformance.
Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
8–10 years of HR experience, including at least 3–5 years in a senior HR leadership role.
Proven experience in a corporate or structured business environment.
Solid payroll management experience under Greek legislation (IKA/EFKA, ERGANI, tax).
In-depth knowledge of Greek Labour Law.
Track record of recruiting for diverse profiles (IT, Sales, administrative, specialist).
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong leadership and people development skills.
High ownership and accountability mindset.
Clear, direct, and respectful communication across all organisational levels.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.

Problem-solving, conflict resolution, and sound judgement under pressure.
What we offer
Annual salary €49,000-€ 56,000 gross/month.
