Head of Corporate Communications
Human Factor is seeking an experienced Head of Corporate Communications on behalf of one of Greece's largest and most established retail supermarket groups, with a nationwide store network and a leading market position.
This is a high-impact role, working closely with senior leadership, reporting to the CEO, with responsibility for protecting and enhancing corporate reputation in a high-visibility, consumer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the overall corporate communications strategy
Lead, manage and develop the Corporate Communications team
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media representatives at national level
Lead crisis communications — planning, response and reputation recovery
Drive executive messaging and internal communications
Oversee corporate branding, digital presence and content production
Collaborate closely with Legal, HR and Senior Leadership
Represent the company at public and industry events
Requirements
10–15+ years of experience in Corporate Communications / PR / Corporate Affairs
Proven people management experience — leading and developing teams
Strong track record in crisis communications and managing negative publicity
Experience managing media relations and journalists at a national level
Excellent communication skills in Greek and English
Preferred Profile
Master's degree in Communications, MBA or related field
Experience in ESG / sustainability communications
Familiarity with the retail or FMCG sector
Strong network within Greek media and the broader business ecosystem
