Warehouse Manager
Human Factor is seeking, on behalf of a client, a leading company in the retail industry, a Warehouse Manager.
About the role
The successful candidate will oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and high service standards across receiving, storage, inventory management, and dispatch activities. You will play a key role in optimizing warehousing processes, leading and developing warehouse teams, and driving operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives.
This position requires a hands-on leader with strong operational expertise, commercial awareness, and excellent organizational skills, capable of maintaining inventory accuracy, improving warehouse performance, and ensuring seamless coordination across teams and departments.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain high customer satisfaction levels through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and ensuring product quality
Measure and improve employee performance and warehouse operational effectiveness
Manage disciplinary matters, attendance, and performance of direct reports in collaboration with management teams
Control and optimize warehouse storage capacity, organization, and inventory space utilization
Ensure inventory accuracy and shipment reliability through strong operational controls
Communicate role expectations, train employees, and support workforce development initiatives
Identify staffing requirements and allocate workloads to maximize efficiency and productivity
Interact with clients to resolve operational issues and respond to inquiries
Maintain warehouse records, prepare reports, and document operational information and performance metrics
Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to improve warehouse processes and workflows
Identify operational gaps and implement innovations to improve existing procedures and practices
Coordinate activities effectively with internal teams and departments to ensure operational alignment
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
Established warehouse supervisory or management experience
Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SAP software
Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and conventional management practices
Ability to retrieve, analyze, and accurately input operational data
Hands-on commitment to staff training, development, and continuous improvement
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and ISO regulations
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Proven experience coordinating and directing warehouse operations
