Business Unit Head – Immunohematology
Human Factor is seeking, on behalf of a client, a leading distributor of immunohematology products providing advanced solutions for blood banking and transfusion medicine, a Business Unit Head.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the business unit’s strategic plan aligned with overall company objectives
Lead and mentor the sales team to achieve and exceed targets, while actively contributing through hands-on sales
Oversee key account management, especially hospitals, blood banks, and laboratories
Oversee tender participation and large-scale hospital projects
Expand market share through new partnerships and product portfolio development
Ensure efficient inventory management, demand planning, and product availability
Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards
Oversee installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment
Travel as required to clients, partner sites, and conferences
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
5+ years of experience in healthcare, medical devices, or diagnostics
Proven track record in sales leadership and business growth
Strong understanding of hospital procurement processes and private healthcare markets
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
