Human Factor is seeking, on behalf of an industrial client, an IT Lead to take a critical, hands-on role in the stability, security, and continuous evolution of its IT infrastructure and enterprise systems.

The selected professional will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, reliability, and continuous improvement of the company’s IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and core systems. They will operate as a key first-line IT owner, partnering closely with the CISO on the implementation and operation of technical security controls, while maintaining clear accountability for service availability, infrastructure resilience, and incident response execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and operate IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud platforms (Azure/hybrid), and enterprise systems

• Ensure high availability, performance, and operational reliability of IT services

• Execute backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes in line with approved continuity plans

• Lead technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident resolution

• Manage and coordinate external IT vendors and service providers

• Implement and operate technical security controls defined within the cybersecurity governance framework

• Act as a key technical responder in security incidents, coordinating escalation with the CISO

• Ensure systems are designed and maintained following security-by-design principles

• Provide logs, metrics, and operational evidence to support risk, compliance, and regulatory reporting (incl. NIS2)

• Work closely with business functions to align IT services with operational and transformation needs

• Support internal and external audits through documentation, evidence, and technical walkthroughs

• Ensure third-party IT services comply with contractual, operational, and security requirements

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or IT operations

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows/Linux servers, networking, virtualization, and cloud environments

• Proven experience operating IT systems in regulated, industrial, or manufacturing environments

• Solid understanding of security control implementation and incident response from an operational perspective

• Experience working with external vendors and managed service providers

• Excellent command of English (Greek is a plus)

• Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Microsoft 365, hybrid infrastructure)

• Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity execution

• IT service management (ITIL / ITSM concepts)

• Infrastructure monitoring, logging, and operational metrics
