As the Production Manager, you will oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across production lines. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

 Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day production operations across all food manufacturing lines.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 22000, BRC, and other relevant food safety and quality standards.
• Optimize production schedules to meet demand, reduce downtime, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Monitor KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma).
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage and develop production staff through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee adherence to health & safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Develop operational reports, analyze performance, and recommend improvements.
• Control production costs and ensure efficient use of materials and resources.

 Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in production leadership within the food manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of food safety regulations and certification systems (HACCP/BRC/ISO).
• Proven experience managing teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies considered an asset.
• Ability to work flexible hours/shifts when required.
